Slovak president to visit Berlin

Slovak President Andrej Kiska will travel to Berlin for a one-day visit concerning business links on Thursday (October 15), with the main aim being to search for opportunities for business cooperation between Slovakia and Germany, said Elena Bianchi from the President's Office's press department. Kiska will be accompanied by delegations from entrepreneurial, academic and governmental sectors. The president will speak to representatives from Adlershof, the biggest German science-technology park, and subsequently with representatives of German and Slovak start-up communities. In the afternoon Kiska will give the opening speech at the Growth Company Forum interactive conference and will take part in presenting and discussing a branch of modern industry called Industry 4.0. To conclude his business trip Kiska will visit the Charite Hospital's paediatric department, which specialises in treating cancer and blood disorders.
