Slovak Foreign and European Affairs Ministry condemned the terrorist attack in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Saturday, chief of Slovak diplomacy Miroslav Lajčák wrote on his Twitter account on Saturday, labelling the attack as cowardly and expressing support to victims' families and people of Turkey. "The ministry expresses the deepest regret over the lives lost, sympathy to victims' families as well as the people and Government of the Republic of Turkey, and swift recovery for the injured. The ministry hopes that the perpetrators will be quickly identified and apprehended," stated the foreign ministry's spokesperson Peter Stano. Ankara's city centre was hit by two explosions on Saturday. They took the lives of at least 86 people and injured 186 more. There were no claims of responsibility for the attack as of yet. There shouldn't be any Slovak citizens among the dead or injured.
