Feature film debut by Ivan Ostrochovský called Koza, in English Goat, premiered at this year's Berlinale and has since recorded a number of successes at international festivals. The most recent one is from the 23rd annual Film Indian Summer festival in the Czech Republic. Meanwhile, the Slovak Film and Television Academy chose this docudrama inspired by the life of a retired boxer Peter Baláž, whose nickname was Koza, as a candidate for the prestigious Oscar award in the best foreign film category.
