In the northeast of Slovakia, especially in the Prešov region, drivers woke up to alerts about an increased need to be cautious on the roads. It has snowed during the night, therefore according to the reports by the Regional Police; some mountain passes aren't passable with summer tires. Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute issued for Monday a warning of first instance before snowy conditions on the roads on almost the entire territory of eastern Slovakia. Meteorologists expect 10-25 cm of fresh snow. The special weather conditions are supposed to end on Tuesday.
