Over 8 million passengers transported in 10 years by Ryanair in Bratislava

The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has transported over 8 million passengers in ten years of its presence at Milan Rastislav Štefánik Airport in Bratislava, with the first flight from Bratislava to Milan-Bergamo carried out exactly ten years ago (October 10, 2005), reported the airport's spokesperson Veronika Ševčíková on Saturday. According to Ševčíková, Ryanair began only with four regular lines from Slovakia, while currently the airline offers 17 different destinations to and from Bratislava. For instance, Ryanair flies to London, Dublin, Birmingham, Madrid and Athens. As of October 27, a new line to Berlin should be added. "There should be 18 regular lines to and from Bratislava and 78 flights per week in the flight schedule for summer 2016," explained Ševčíková.
