Also on an official visit to Slovakia is Sergey Yevgenyevich Naryshkin, the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. Today at Bratislava Castle Naryshkin met Pavol Paška Speaker of the Slovak National Council, and then travelled to the Presidential Palace to meet with President Ivan Gašparovič.
Naryshkin will also meet Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico where they are expected to talk about the current bilateral relations between Slovakia and the Russian Federation including the possibilities of further development and networking in areas of common interest.
