More than 100 schools have joined a pilot program from the Transport Ministry's project called 'On Bike to School' in September. Schools put forward their own ideas on how to boost the development of the use of bikes by pupils and students for their journeys to school. "We are using this approach to help support healthy lifestyles for small children. This is why, after organising a competition for adults we've also decided to organise a contest for the younger generation", said national 'cycling coordinator' Peter Klucka. Schools still can send in their ideas on the issue via the ministry's website.
