The Slovak Government's determination to file a lawsuit against the European Union Council's decision on distributing 120,000 immigrants among individual EU member countries is a wrong move, according to Béla Bugár the leader of Opposition party Most-Hid. The plan agreed at the EU level last week allocates 1,458 refugees to Slovakia over two years. "Prime Minister Robert Fico always seeks an enemy to pretend that he's defending Slovakia. Now he's made the EU such an enemy, while we're still a Union member. This is a serious problem", said Bugár. He believes that such a lawsuit has to be debated in Parliament - while Prime Minister Robert Fico claims that it isn't necessary. On Wednesday the Slovak Government repeated its intention to file a complaint on this topic at the European Court of Justice. According to Fico, Slovakia can voluntarily take 200 Christian refugees from Syria.
