Slovak pensioners who have monthly pensions of up to €396.18 will receive a sum amounting to €12.74 in addition to the Christmas bonus, similar to last year. The maximum sum of the Christmas bonus will again be €100 together with the additional money. Those pensioners will be entitled to it whose pension does not exceed €198.09, based on the amendment to the law on the provision of Christmas bonus to some beneficiaries approved by parliament. The Labour Ministry estimates that this year the extra €12.74 should go to nearly 761,600 pensioners.
