European Union doesn't want to convene an extraordinary prime ministers' summit on the migrant crisis because it's afraid of the truth, as some countries support the civil war in Syria, Prime Minister Robert Fico said on a TV discussion show on Sunday. According to him, the migration crisis represents the biggest crisis since WWII. He added that the power to make decisions on this should not be reserved solely for bureaucrats in Brussels. Robert Fico sees the difficulty arriving at unanimous decisions as another reason for EU's alleged reluctance to convene the summit. "When it was necessary to fight for banks and fight for money to be given to Greece, we had summits almost every day. But in the face of such large humanitarian crisis that concerns the identity of Europe, we're not able to convene a summit", the Slovak Prime Minister said.
