Slovak tennis player Viktória Kužmová has won the junior girls' doubles together with Russian Aleksandra Pospelovova at the 2015 US Open. They beat the Russian couple Anna Kalinská and Anastasia Potapovová in two sets 7:6, 6:2. They were losing 2:5 in the first set. However, the twist came after the break due to the rain. Kužmová thus become the 7th Slovak junior player to win one of the Grand Slam titles in the history of the independent Slovak Republic.
