Marco Polo TV series shooting in Slovakia finishes

The U.S. film studio The Weinstein Company ended its filming of the Slovak part of the second season of the television series 'Marco Polo' in the Súľov Rocks in central Slovakia this week. Over the course of the filming, the studio has invested more than €2.1 million in Slovakia. "The second season was shot in Hungary, Slovakia and Malaysia. Eight weeks in Hungary, three weeks in Slovakia, ten weeks in Malaysia. Around 550 foreign and 150 Slovak crew members worked on the production. „We began shooting in the High Tatras at Sliezsky Dom, then we moved to the Slovak Paradise National Park and then to the Súľov Rocks," said Slovak producer Dalibor Vasica.
