The radical change in weather has caused 25 C drop in temperatures in the High Tatras peaks. The tourist paths, located over 1800 metres above the sea level, were covered in snow. The mountain rescuers appeals on tourists to be more cautious. In case they plan a hike over 1800 metres above the sea level, they have to keep in mind that the paths are soggy wet and slippery. The mountain rescue team speaks about common sense in deciding to take any difficult hike under these weather conditions.
