Slovakia's gross domestic product grew by 3.2 percent in the second quarter of this year in annual terms. The Statistics Office of the Slovak Republic reported the results, which thus confirmed its flash estimate of GDP growth from August. The average nominal monthly wage in the national economy increased by 2.3 percent y/y in the second quarter of this year and amounted to €877. As the Statistics Office reported, a slight decrease in consumer prices compared to the nominal wage growth influenced the development of real wages.
