Slovak President Andrej Kiska talked to his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko on the phone on Thursday. Kiska congratulated Poroshenko on the recent Ukraine Independence Day remembered annually on August 24. The President stressed that Slovakia will continue to provide gas supplies to its eastern neighbour. The two officials also discussed the latest developments in eastern Ukraine and the state of affairs regarding the reform process currently underway in the country.
