Trains travelling through Slovakia stopped at Hungarian Border

Hungary has begun stopping trains destined to pass through Slovakia and the Czech Republic from leaving or entering its territory. This is due to the ongoing migration crisis and the situation at Keleti railway station in Budapest. The decision of the Hungarian authorities has complicated the situation of many passengers. There are 8 Eurocity trains passing through Slovakia to and fro on a daily basis. Now they must start and stop at the Hungarian border station Szob. All passengers travelling from Budapest now must take alternative trains and change at this station. These measures are causing delays of up to several hours.
