End to illegal money lending?

The existence of dubious non-banking companies should come to an end. As of Tuesday, some 300 non-bank companies in Slovakia will not be licensed to legally lend money. The National Bank of Slovakia issued licenses just to 11 companies. Associations representing people in disputes with non-banking companies had originally estimated the number of granted licenses at about 50. More companies can obtain the license from the National Bank of Slovakia gradually. They can apply for it later.
