Interior Minister Kaliňák surprised by new Austrian refugee camp close to Slovakia

The construction of a refugee camp for migrants from Syria close to the Austrian-Slovak border has caught Interior Minister Robert Kaliňák by surprise. RSI brought the story just yesterday, informing of the fact that Austria is building a temporary camp for migrants near the town of Berg, about 150 meters away from the Slovak border and 4.5 km away from the centre of Bratislava. The minister claimed that patrols in the area will be reinforced, although he doesn't perceive the refugee camp as a security threat. Kaliňák stressed that the site of the camp is not appropriate for a number of reasons, with Slovakia already conveying its objections to Vienna.
