If a Slovak citizen wants to use a drone that weighs more than 20 kilograms or has a camera installed, they need to obtain permission from the Transport Authority. At the same time, if someone wants to use drones for photographing or filming, this also needs approval from the Defence Ministry, Chairman of the Transport Authority Ján Breja and the head of the Civil Aviation Department Martin Němeček said at a press conference on Tuesday. In November of 2014, Prime Minister Robert Fico claimed to have been stalked by a camera-equipped drone hovering outside his apartment window. "I live on the third floor...What, do they want to see me in my shorts?", said the prime minister for the TA3 TV news channel.
