World media: Slovakia willing to accept only Christians

The BBC released a story claiming that Slovakia will only accept Christians when it takes in Syrian refugees under an EU relocation scheme. Interior ministry spokesman Ivan Netík spoke to them, claiming that Muslims would not be accepted because they would not feel at home as there is no religious infrastructure and no mosques in the country. Slovakia is predominantly a Catholic country. The ministry's spokesperson Netík denied the move was discriminatory and said it was intended to ensure that migration is successful. Slovakia will accept 200 permanent Syrian migrants into the country and 500 temporary migrants from a camp in Austria.
