A Slovak native from the region of Žilina posted an offer on the internet whereby he would pay €25 for every migrant shot dead at the Gabčíkovo refugee camp, in western Slovakia; where Slovakia agreed to temporarily shelter 500 asylum seekers from Austria. This news was publicised by news website aktuality.sk on Wednesday and is already being investigated by police. The man posted his offer as a job advert seeking clean-up services for a Gabčíkovo hostel. When contacted over the phone by reporters of the aktuality.sk website, he confirmed that his offer is no joke but a bona fide offer inspired by fear of Muslims. According to police academy head and criminal law expert Lucia Kurilovská, such an advert represents a crime. "At first glance, it shows signs of incitement to racial and xenophobic hatred against a specific group. When posted on the internet, it's definitely in the public realm", said Kurilovská.
