The Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly condemns the bomb attack which happened on Monday in the centre of the Thai capital Bangkok, expressing "condolences on behalf of the citizens of the Slovak Republic to the families of the victims and the people of Thailand". The Ministry also updated its travel advice for Thailand. As stated on the website of the Ministry, Thailand has been raised to the second level in terms of travel warnings, suggesting travellers carefully consider the need to travel to the country. Moreover, the Ministry advises the travellers to monitor the situation in Thailand via media, and consult it with the Slovak Embassy in Bangkok beforehand.
