Less than third of Slovaks read dailies

Less than one third of Slovaks read printed daily newspapers, according to a recent nationwide survey carried out by Median SK agency in cooperation with the English company Kantar Media. In the first half of this year, printed daily papers were read by 31 percent of Slovaks, a fall of 2 percent year-on-year. Ten years ago the survey showed that 52 percent of Slovaks read printed daily papers. Tabloids top the list of the most read dailies.
