Slovakia's economic growth moderately accelerated in the second quarter of the year according to the Statistics Office. That has increased by 3.2% year-on-year. After seasonal adjustment, GDP rose by 0.8% in comparison with the previous quarter. This was partly attributed to a rise in employment during this period of 2,264 thousand persons. In comparison with the second quarter of 2014 this is an increase of 2%.
