Police raid at publishing house of opposition MP Igor Matovič

Officers from the National Crime Agency (NAKA) carried out a raid on the headquarters of the Ordinary People party (OLaNO) head Igor Matovič's wife publishing house regionPRESS in Trnava on Wednesday. Police have allegedly seized servers with data files. "The operation has been ordered by the Special Prosecutor's Office. Six police officers and two experts are in the building", wrote hnonline.sk referring to information released by one of regionPRESS's staff members on Facebook. According to Matovič the company regionPRESS has never violated the law. According to the website Aktuality.sk, the operation is related to the scandal involving an audio recording featuring Matovič and Sieť (Network) leader Radoslav Procházka in which the latter was alleged to have shown interest in an under-the-counter political advertisement in regionPress's commercial newspapers.
