This year's harvest in Slovakia could produce very positive figures. "If nothing dramatic happens in the meantime, farmers should be able to garner the second biggest harvest of grain in the past ten years", stated president of the Slovak agricultural and food chamber Milan Semančík. At the same time this year's harvest should be one of the fastest ones in the past 10 years, as due to the dry weather, harvesting could be completed by the end of next week, Semančík added. Farmers are happy not only with the amount but also with the quality of the grain.
