A man in the south western Slovak town of Šaľa has been charged with disorderly conduct following an attack on a bus driver on Monday, August 10. The attack occurred shortly before 1:00 PM at the bus stop in the nearby village of Diakovce. "A 28-year-old named Tibor boarded the bus but refused to purchase a fare. Then, as the driver pointed out this fact, the accused physically abused him and punched him in the face", informed Nitra Regional Police spokesperson Božena Bruchterová on Wednesday. The spokesperson added than the accused has since been arrested and placed in a police cell, where he faces charges of disorderly conduct. "If found guilty under this act threatens imprisonment for three years", added Bruchterová.
