The company Mecaplast Slovakia plans to invest €50 million in the construction of a new factory next to the assembly plant of PSA Peugeot Citroen in Trnava. The manufacturer of plastic parts intended primarily for the automotive industry wants to start production as early as May 2016. The main customer for its plastic products will be the adjacent automaker. In addition to PSA Peugeot Citroen, other clients could also be Volkswagen and BMW. This information comes from a plan submitted for environmental impact assessment (EIA). After production starts, the new factory should offer work for 110 people. In 2017, in three-shift operation, this could rise to 150 people, reports the Pravda daily.
