The Economy Ministry is preparing a call for requests for grants towards research and development for both later this year and next year. "The funding will be designed to support both new and existing innovation capacities in research and development in enterprises, as well as in groupings of clusters, especially enterprises. Projects with a potential for innovations will be endorsed", said Ladislav Bányai of the Economy Minister's office. "There are no defined areas of transacting business for the enterprises. The selection will be conducted in close conjunction with the private sector based on the business models of the start-ups and the uniqueness of their products", added Bányai.
