The Swedish musical group Rednex will be the biggest attraction at this year's Lodenica (Boatyard) 2015 country, tramping and folk music festival in the boatyard area of Piešťany (Trnava region) on August 27-29, the festival's PR manager Ján Kakaščík stated. The festival, which is a traditional farewell to the holidays, will feature legends from the Czech and Slovak country, tramping, folk and pop music scene. "Those going to the festival can also look forward to the following performers: Čechomor, Fleret, Rangers, Kamelot, Sima Martausová, František Nedvěd, Žalman, Hex, Zuzana Smatanová, Katarína Koščová, Slniečko, Bukasový masiv, Willie Jones, IMT Smile, Hop Trop, Robert Křesťan and many others. One of the highlights of Friday's [August 28] programme is a performance by the group Rednex, which ... was made famous by hits such as 'Cotton Eye Joe', 'Old Pop in an Oak' and 'Wish You Were Here'," said Kakaščík. The Lodenica festival will also feature a varied accompanying programme, including performances by lesser-known and new artists.
