Despite Slovakia’s smaller size and population, it’s an interesting partner for Turkey in terms of trade and science, said Slovak President Ivan Gašparovič in a speech at the TUBITAK Space Technologies Research Institute in Ankara on Tuesday. “We're comparable and equal particularly in terms of innovation, state of the art technology, scientific research and the ability to apply the results of scientific and technological research into practice,” added the Slovak head of state.
According to Gašparovič, Slovakia is committed to creating a Slovak-Turkish commission for cooperation in science and research and a Slovak-Turkish Centre for Science, Research, Innovation and Trade in Istanbul.
