The state budget deficit stood at €1.19 billion at the end of July, which amounts to a year-on-year deficit reduction of 44.9 percent, the Finance Ministry reported on Monday. The annual rise in tax income at the end of July equalled €866.9 million, or 16.8 percent led by positive developments in corporate tax.
