Compared to June, the unemployment rate in Slovakia in July fell by 0.26 percentage points to 13.99 percent. The office for Labour, Social Affairs, and Family published the figures on Tuesday. At the end of last month, labour offices registered 377,400 unemployed people who were able to start working immediately. Compared to the end of June, this number shrank by almost 7,300 persons. However, compared with July of last year, the total registered unemployment rate rose by 0.72 percentage points and the number of registered unemployed came up by nearly 18,800.
