Almost 170 foreigners from 37 countries will hone their Slovak skills this summer, as the Studia Academica Slovaca's (SAS) 51st Slovak language and culture summer school will be officially opened on Monday (August 3) by the Comenius University's Faculty of Arts in Bratislava. Besides learning the language, the course participants are bound to become more familiar with Slovakia's culture and history. It is mostly people from Italy, Hungary, Germany, Poland and Bulgaria who have expressed interest in the summer school, although some participants also hail from Costa Rica, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Georgia and Macedonia.
