Eighth annual Gypsy Fest held in Bratislava right now

The annual Roma culture festival Gypsy Fest was launched in Bratislava on Wednesday presenting to visitors Romany music along with theatre and acting performances stated the festival's spokesperson Monika Komorová. The three day festival is to continue on Thursday with an event called 'The Roma as You've Never Known Them' where Roma soldiers, police offices, nurses and medical assistants will present their work. The eighth annual Gypsy Fest will end in a two-hour gala finale on Friday at 8 p.m. on the Main Square in Bratislava. Bratislava's Gypsy Fest is one of the four largest Roma festivals in the world. It was founded in 2008 and so far artists from 17 countries have performed at the festival.
