Police seized a 185 doses worth of marijuana from a Czech citizen at a music event in Bratislava this past weekend, said Bratislava regional police spokesperson Tatiana Kurucová. Meanwhile, a Slovak citizen from the Senica district (Trnava region) was caught in possession of 17 marijuana doses. While the Czech has been taken into custody, the Slovak is being prosecuted at large. Both could spend between three to ten years in prison if convicted. Guards from a private security service at the music event on Viedenska Street on Saturday evening noticed two plastic bags containing material from a dried plant during a visual inspection of the Czech's rucksack. They detained the man until the police arrived. Later, in the small hours of Saturday a police patrol at the same location spotted a man with a plastic wrapper containing small plastic bags. As the man wasn't able to prove his identity, he was taken to a police station where he voluntarily surrendered the plastic wrapping containing marijuana.
