The ruling SMER party has declared war on “crooks” and sent to parliament an amendment to the Consumer Protection Act. Deputy Economy Minister Pavol Pavlis explained that the amendment seeks to establish a mechanism which would eliminate the aggressive marketing practices of some business entities, especially when it comes to pensioners.
