Magda Paveleková, the first lady of Slovak humour dies at 84

On July 20, in early morning hours the Slovak actress Magda Paveleková died at the age of 84. Magda Paveleková was one of the founding members of the Theatre of Andrej Bagar in Nitra, where in 1949 she started her acting career. She was one of the most popular Slovak actresses, both for the optimism and humour she liked to spread around. During her long acting career she was part of numerous theatre plays, TV shows and most notably musicals, where she would perform comic or tragic-comedy roles.
