Shopping tourism hit by weaker euro

In the first half of this year it was less advantageous for Slovaks to go shopping in neighbouring countries. "The euro devalued against the Hungarian forint, the Czech koruna and the Polish zloty in the range of between 0.5 and 2.3 percent", said Poštová banka analyst Dominika Ondrová. She doesn't expect a significant change in the euro's rate in the next few months.
