The Stuttgart-based carmaker Porsche AG is expanding its presence in Europe, as far as the Slovak market. It is to take over two plants: one in the Slovak town of Dubnica and a second in the Saxon town of Schwarzenberg near Augsburg. Both of them employ a total of more than 600 people. "By taking over the tool shops Porsche lays an important milestone in the production of the sports cars of the future," President of Porsche AG Matthias Mueller said commenting on this investment. However, Porsche is not taking over the Dubnica plant in its entirety.
