This season has proven to be the last for another, fourth travel agency in Slovakia. Bratislava-based Medina Tours announced insolvency thus joining three other travel agencies Tip Tour, Best Choice, and Tour. Behind the bankruptcy was the insolvency of Medina’s mother company abroad and also the complicated situation in Egypt, which served as the agency's main destination.
“The termination of activities and meeting of legitimate claims will take place in close co-operation with European Travel Insurance guidelines," said the travel agency adding that all holiday-makers who are currently abroad will be able to enjoy the rest of their trip. Those who haven't set off on holiday yet will get a full refund.
