Every Third 32-Year-Old Slovak Takes Bank Loan

Every third Slovak in his thirties has taken a consumer loan or mortgage with an average worth of €46,000, according to an analysis carried out by Sberbank Slovensko among their clients. The number of those with loans has shown to decrease with an increase in age. For instance, only 15 percent of 47-year-olds currently have a loan in the bank and it’s usually worth less than €30,000. This means that most people are able to repay their commitments to the bank before they turn 50.
