Slovakia’s economic growth revised upwards again

Analysts with commercial banks revised their estimates of Slovakia's economic growth for this year in a positive direction. According to a regular survey from the National Bank of Slovakia, analysts forecast that the country's economy will grow by 3.1 percent. Thus, they boosted their average forecast from May by 0.1 percentage points. In the second quarter of this year alone, the country's GDP should rise by the same 3.1 percent according to analysts. Bank analysts are also more optimistic regarding next year's economic development when their forecast of economic growth for 2016 increased by 0.2 percentage points compared to May.
