Peter Sagan wins Master of Slovakia title in Žilina race

Slovak cycling legend Peter Sagan will once again represent Slovakia in the upcoming Tour de France in July, following his impressive win on Sunday, June 28 during a joint Czech-Slovak championship race in Žilina. Riding for the team Saxo-Tinkoff, the 25 year old champion continued his 5 year winning streak at the event; crossing the finish line in first place in the elite category and earning himself the race title Master of Slovakia. "I am very pleased to have won just in Žilina. My objective has been fulfilled, and in this time trial I have achieved another championship", said Sagan, who was joined on the podium by his brother Juraj Sagan (26), who finished in second place. The third place winner was Patrik Tybor (27).
