President Andrej Kiska will not make any recommendations before the elections about which parties voters should choose, however, he does want to encourage citizens to go to vote. It was announced today in parliament, when he delivered his report on the state of the Republic. "We need to renew the citizens' trust in their country. It will succeed only if we are demanding and achieve a qualitative leap forward" said Kiska. He recognises that today in society it is felt that we are over the worst. "The economy is growing at a pace that is one of the fastest in the Eurozone. There is even a consensus on the problems of society. Slovakia has come a long way, but we cannot let fatigue and resignation take over. People should go to vote, but have little faith that we are moving forward," the President said.
