The Government have appointed Ivan Lesay as the new Finance Ministry State Secretary to replace Vazil Hudák, who has become the new economy minister. Hudák, who was appointed to office by President Andrej Kiska on Tuesday, replaced former minister Pavol Pavlis, who gave up his seat due to allegations of nepotism. Lesay previously worked at the Slovak Academy of Sciences' (SAV) Economic Research Institute and served as an advisor to Finance Minister Peter Kažimír.
