The Interior Ministry is increasing the protection of Slovakia's border with Ukraine, having purchased a total of 47 cameras, which will be installed on a stretch between the villages of Ubľa and Ulič (Prešov region), which is nearly 6 kilometres long. Meanwhile, the Slovak-Ukrainian border is currently monitored by hundreds of cameras. The best monitored section of the border is a 30-kilometre stretch in the south. The Interior Ministry is now planning to boost the monitoring of the northern part of the border, which is hillier than the aforementioned stretch.
