Slovak football players entered the second half European qualifiers by a home triumph of 2-1 over F.Y.R. Macedonia in Žilina on Sunday. After their sixth match within the qualifying C group, they keep a full account of 18 points, thus remaining top of the groups table and significantly enhancing their prospects to advance to next year's European tournament in France. "It's something fantastic to have six wins out six games. With four matches to go, we are on course for the play-offs at least and that's amazing. Now we can dream of making another step towards France and direct qualification," said the head coach Jan Kozák after the match.
