Fairy tale theatre at Bojnice Castle

Stories about a goat that had its pelt ripped off on one side, about a sweet-toothed Janko and his sister Marienka, or a courageous Janko and the diligent Zuzka have been on display as theatre pieces at Bojnice Castle (Trenčín region) as of Thursday. The 19th year of the 'Fairy Tale Castle' event with the subtitle 'My Dearest Fairy Tales' is open to the public June 11-14, 18-21 and 27-28. "Visitors can see four fairy tales as part of our 19th Fairy Tale Castle - 'Pernikova chalupka' (Gingerbread Cottage), 'Koza rohata' (Horned Goat), 'Janko a fazulka' (Jack and the Beanstalk), and 'Zlata priadka' (Golden Yarn). The whole idea of fairy tales is about dreaming. Children dream too little - so they must sleep less, and dream more," said organiser Petra Čavojská.
