The relations between Slovakia and the Czech Republic are so good that they don't have a parallel within the European Union, stated jointly the Slovak and Czech Presidents during their meeting on Wednesday in Prague. On his official visit there, Slovak President Andrej Kiska spoke to Miloš Zeman also about topics surrounding the elections in Turkey and Poland and the current situation in Russia and Ukraine. "We also spoke about the current debate in the Czech Republic about the potential adoption of the Euro. I confirmed that in Slovakia the adoption of the Euro was taken in with great understanding and it was a significant step for Slovakia," stated the Slovak President Kiska. On Wednesday he also visited the Czech village of Lidice that was burn down by fascists on June 10, 1942 after Heydrich's assassination.
